Directions to the YWCA
Basic Directions To the Historic YWCA Building
- From Cincinnati or Dayton
- OH I-75 North or South (between Cincinnati and Dayton)
- West on State Route 129 into Hamilton
- North (right) at Third Street (second light after the underpass)
- 2 blocks down on left corner
- From I-275
- North on U.S. 27 towards Ross and Oxford, OH.
- Right at Ross (Rt. 128 Hamilton-Cleves Rd) into Hamilton.
- Cross first bridge (turn right onto New London Rd)
- Turn left after bridge and drive to High St. (OR cross second bridge a few blocks later & go right onto High St.)
- Drive several blocks, turn left onto Third St.
- YWCA is several blocks down on the left.
Parking
Street Parking is Free all day Saturday and Sunday. Please check for free conference parking options closer to our conference date.
- On Street: meters are active 9am-5pm Monday through Friday
- City Parking Garage (one block before YWCA; Third & Market Sts)
- County Parking Garage (after the underpass, left at light; on right)
- City Parking Lot (after the underpass, is on your right)

Directions to Miami University Hamilton
Basic Directions to Miami University Hamilton
- From Cincinnati or Dayton (directions “locals” use)
-From Cincinnati: I-75 North to Regional Hwy (Rt.129)
-From Dayton: I-75 South to Regional Hwy (Rt 129; this is the Regional Hwy, not Hamilton-Mason Road)- Head west into Hamilton. Rt 129 becomes High St. Continue several blocks and go under underpass. Go several more blocks (past statue in middle of street.)
- Turn left on Second St (historic courthouse is in front of you on the left).
- Go one block and turn right.
- Go two blocks to dead end (Fitton Center for Creative Arts and Log Cabin are in front of you.) Turn left.
- Proceed several short blocks, go around curve to right, proceed along river. First traffic light is a bridge—go straight.
- Next traffic light is Knightsbridge Blvd. Turn left. (Baseball field and new school being built is on your left; Vora Technology Park is on your right.)
- Go one block to University Blvd and turn right. Several “blocks” down, the university parking lot and then the university buildings will be on your right.
Parking
Miami Hamilton has a large parking lot, just north of Wilks Conference Center that is free parking for visitors. See the printable Campus Map (PDF/125KB)for visual guidance.
Directions from Miami University Hamilton to the YWCA
- Take a Left out of parking lot.
- At first light, turn left onto Knightsbridge.
- Next light (at river) turn right.
- Follow road to downtown’s High Street (log cabin and Monument).
- Turn right onto High.
- Turn left onto Third St. YWCA is several blocks down on left.
Directions from the YWCA to Miami University Hamilton
- Take Third St. to High St. (front doors face in general direction of High St.)
- Right on High St. and pass statue.
- Turn left on Second St (historic courthouse is in front of you on the left).
- Go one block and turn right.
- Go two blocks to dead end (Fitton Center for Creative Arts and Log Cabin are in front of you.) Turn left.

Directions to Biz Tech/Old Municipal Building
Biz Tech/Historical Museum/Old Muncipal Building faces High Street towards the Visitors Center. There is also a back entrance across the street from the Marriott Hotel parking lot. It is on the northeast corner of the High-Main Street Bridge. Meter parking on Friday is free after 5pm and all day Saturday.
