Vision Statement
The Mad Anthony Writers Conference will grow into a premiere event in the Midwest and nationally. The Writers Conference will attract writers in various stages of their careers and in multiple genres of fiction and nonfiction from all over the country. Established authors, agents, and first class publishing companies of national renown will present keynote addresses and workshops, and will host individual appointments with eligible conference attendees. An on-site book store and book signing for conference attendees will showcase the works of the presenting authors. The onsite Bookstore of the Book Festival will carry the books of the authors. At least one keynote presentation will be open to the general public. The entire event will promote writing as a creative art and reading as entertainment as well as a necessity of life.
